Mat Pilates for Beginners

Pilates if a form of exercise that focuses on full body alignment. It helps balance your muscles by targeting, lengthening, and strengthening the tiny muscles you may not use regularly. This helps prevent injury, alleviate pain, improve posture, and develop muscle tone. This mat Pilates session is low impact and safe for any level or any age, as modifications will be provided. It is great for anyone looking to get a good workout, improve posture, alleviate stress, or learn how to practice mind-body alignment.
All necessary props and mats will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Pilates came into Susan’s life seven years ago when she was needing to strengthen her core and back due to herniated discs. She fell in love with the movement right away and six years later, became a certified Pilates instructor. This type of exercise is for everybody no matter what age, size, shape, or sex!
